Its the most wonderful time of the year.
School is back in session. I love school. It not only offers an escape from work (which I am finding with Can/Am Hockey - it is much much needed), but it offers an escape from everything else. Including internet, which is why you will only see for on weekends or particularly stressful weeks where I just have to let it out!
I am perturbed however. I have a dear friend whom I truly feel taken advantage by. It is really irritating me. (Please keep in mind there is no deeper relationship than close friendship here.) He never comes to my house, I always have to go to his (which he expects 3 times a week out of the 5 I'm in the area). He is constantly begging for rides places and never chips in for gas.
Now, why is this so irritating, even though he is only going places I am already going? I can't quite explain it. "Oh, you're going to get chinese? I could go for chinese." Yeah, I'm already going there, but it is almost as though I am a bus for him. I'm going everywhere and he can just hop right on.
Blah. I need a week free from him.
